This is quite a gnarly publication. Everything you imagined the hard-core motocrossers of the 90s doing is in the book, and then some. As a former racer, I could appreciate parts of the book. As a writer, I could appreciate the crisp, fast-paced writing. As a former law enforcement officer, I was horrified (but not surprised) at what I will nicely call "antics." Ultimately, it is a fascinating and very human story, flaws, warts, and all. For anyone interested in the freestyle motocross subculture, this is a must-read. Highly recommended - well done!

A very inspirational book written by the "wambat" himself. Talks about the ups and downs and the harsh struggles of life. I recommend this novel to anyone interested in the sport of freestyle. Anyone can overcome their addiction's. All they need is the right attitude and the willingness to do so. I always liked the Metal Mulisha, but after reading this book I wear that skull with pride!
I have to say that I've been a fan of the Metal Mulisha since the beginning of the company so I was very eager to read this book. I've had the pleasure of meeting Larry Linkogle and he was nothing but nice to me and even signed an autograph for me. I've known about the history of the Metal Mulisha but its one thing to hear it from the person directly involved with the history of the company. The book isn't very long which is a good thing because its short and to the point. The book is a great read if you're a fan of FMX and the Metal Mulisha.
Awesome book. Gives you great details of what happened to Larry and how metal mulisha started. Definitely worth the read! You rock Larry!!!
