This guide does give valuable advice but it is merely a collection of black & white screen shots from popular websites like tripadvisor or google maps. Overpriced. I can use the internet myself without the need to buy a book.

I purchased this book because it was one of the few I could find that was just for Santorini. It's not worth the $10. If you buy it, the digital version would be more useful so you can follow links. The print quality is really poor. Imagine the cheapest quality newsprint. no color photos and some of the maps aren't even readable. It feels like a lot of brochures thrown together or something. Perhaps written by a tour guide touting their friends businesses? The translation is poor and the writer interjects some pretty ridiculous stuff in there. I have to admit it made me laugh. Mostly because you just can't make this stuff up, but it also felt like the writer is making fun of "you the tourist". I guess they got me! I bought the book, I'm a dumb tourist. Here is a quote for your reading pleasure. QUOTE " So, if you want to make a marriage proposal on the air, just above the caldera of Santorini, or if you want to impress your significant other, or if no one loves you in this life, and you want to spoil yourself by consuming all your money, then you can just grab this helicopter tour." End Quote. WTF lol!? I gave it 2 stars because I did glean a few good tips. Honestly you can find better information on the santorini tourism site, or the Rough Guide to the greek islands.(which I also purchased)
