Very expensive book. It leaves out really really important steps. For example, following the instructions to the letter for changing out a power steering pump, I ruined a pump. The last step after simply reversing the removal steps is to check for leaks. Which I did. Nothing about bleeding the lines. So I checked for leaks, all looked good. Started the car up. The pump worked great for about 5 seconds before the noise came and the pump was toast. You can't leave off steps. People who buy these books are typically weekend warriors, not full time mechanics. It's garbage. Nothing about screw head sizes. It could say "Use a 14mm socket to remove the three screws..." but they opted not to. So you've got to keep testing sockets until you find the right one. And sometimes it's not easy to reach the screwhead in the first place, so that's really handy info to have. They left no corner uncut in the creation of this garbage manual.
Diagrams seem pretty good for wiring and some of the breakdown, but overall a bit too brief and general. Much of what it presents you would figure out just by looking at the item under repair. I would still recommend this for the price and the general schematics.

Subaru has been growing in leaps and bounds, yet they neglected to come out with a manual for many years. It lacks some important details bit is a jump off point.
